Halloween Squirrel & Pumpkin

The design features squirrels, skilled climbers, and pumpkins, a symbol of nourishment. The imagery of squirrels eating pumpkins represents a positive, forward- thinking mindset, encouraging constant innovation and self-improvement. It symbolizes abundance, prosperity, and enduring good fortune. 

In Canada, squirrels are everywhere: on the trees by the window, on neighbors' rooftops, or in the grass by the roadside. Imagine a squirrel holding a pinecone, gently tapping on your window in the morning sunlight, or a little squirrel hopping across the road. We naturally slow down, waiting for them to safely cross before continuing on our way. This occasional slowdown and the harmony with nature are what the founder wants to express through this illustration. Of course, pumpkins and Halloween are always key moments of joy and memories in a child’s growth.
